Taproom Server @ our Baysville Taproom (PT, seasonal)
Our taproom and retail store is located just a stone’s throw from the South Muskoka River.
As a Taproom Server, you will be responsible for serving drinks to guests and ensuring quality standards are met.
This is a part-time role which is set to end in early September.
What YOU will be doing:
- Building relationships with our biggest fans and customers, by sharing your passion and knowledge of craft beer
- Making merch, beer and food recommendations that fit your customers' needs
- Serving alcoholic beverages
- Managing your assigned patio space to ensure customer expectations are met
- Maintaining a safe, clean and orderly workspace
- Performing all required payment transactions efficiently and accurately
- Providing excellent customer service by responding to customer questions, concerns or issues regarding products or services
What YOU bring to the table:
- Must be Smart Serve certified
- Strong multi-tasking abilities
- Experience in a retail, food and beverage or customer service role
- Enthusiasm and a passion for craft beer (a big win for us, but not necessary!)
- Dedicated to excellent service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills
- Positive, professional, and a friendly attitude
Working Conditions:
- Evenings, weekends, and day shifts
- Extended periods of walking and standing
- Must be able to reliably commute to shift
