Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Advisor to aid in our service department operations. The ideal candidate will possess some mechanical knowledge and a background in customer service, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service while effectively working with the team. This role is crucial in driving sales through upselling automotive repair services, executing warranty claims and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Complete daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Helping with customer interactions, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction with services rendered.
- Implement upselling strategies for additional services and products to enhance customer experience.
- Complete warranty claims from start to finish with various companies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a dealership environment is preferred.
- Some mechanical knowledge is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Proven sales skills, particularly in upselling automotive repair services.
- Experience in cash handling and financial transactions within a retail or service setting.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers and staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
- Valid OMVIC license is not necessary but acceptable.
