The Opportunity
We're looking for a Business Development Intern for a 4-month fall co-op term. You'll support our Subcontractor Success team with research and prospecting, using AI tools to work smarter, not just harder. You'll work out of our downtown Toronto office, with some flexibility to work from home mainly on Fridays.
What you'll do
● Use AI tools to research potential clients and decision-makers and turn that research into usable prospect lists.
● Support outbound prospecting and lead qualification alongside our Subcontractor Success team.
● Find ways to use AI to streamline everyday tasks — research, note-taking, outreach, call summaries.
● Help maintain accurate records in Salesforce and assist with presentations and event prep.
What you bring
● A genuine work ethic and eagerness to learn — you jump in and figure things out.
● Comfort using AI tools (like ChatGPT or Claude) to research and speed up your work, and curiosity to learn new ones.
● Strong written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
● Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program, or a recent graduate. No prior sales experience required.

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
