Job Title: Motor Winder / Shop Labourer
Job Location: Spruce Grove, AB
Schedule: Weekend Shift Only: Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM
This dedicated weekend schedule includes up to 12 hours of overtime per week.
Upon occassion the shift may run up to 14 hours when business critical situations arise.
Our client is seeking a Motor Winder / Shop Labourer to join their team in a shop environment supporting the assembly and preparation of motor heads used in downhole pump applications. This is a contract-to-permanent opportunity ideal for mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy hands-on work in a team-based environment.
What's the Job?
- Work in a shop environment as part of a team assembling motor heads.
- Pull and route wires as part of the assembly process.
- Paint and prepare motor heads for downhole pump applications.
- Follow established production, quality, and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Support shop operations as required.
What's Needed?
- Criminal Record Check required.
- Drug and medical testing required.
- Basic electrical knowledge is considered an asset.
- Experience using hand tools.
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to perform physical work in a manufacturing/shop setting.
- Vocational training in electrical, mechanical, machining, or welding is considered an asset.
