Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shop Mechanic to join our dynamic team.The Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing a variety of mechanical equipment and systems used in shop operations. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, able to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that manufacturing/production processes are adhered to including require for the API Q1 quality management system requirements and appropriate API product specification requirement
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and determine the appropriate repair or maintenance requirements.
- Repair, replace, adjust, and rebuild mechanical components and equipment as required.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, service information, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Assist with equipment assembly, disassembly, installation, and commissioning.
- Complete repairs and maintenance in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, parts used, and work completed.
- Complete work orders and service documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company health and safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Work collaboratively with other mechanics, electricians, technicians, and field personnel.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- · Ensure that personal qualifications are updated as required to maintain certifications
- · Accurately report work performed on timesheets and work order binder labor forms.
- Inspect, diagnose issues and repair equipment and tools and product as necessary.
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience in oilfield equipment fabrication preferred and required for field service.
- Millwright or heavy equipment mechanic journeyman certification (or equivalent trade) or proven competence based on experience
- Strong understanding of industry regulations and standards regarding products offered.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and work instructions
- Understanding of competency requirements
- Ability to maintain equipment and ensure calibration requirements are satisfied
- Commitment to corporate goals and ethics.
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 80.0 per week
