Position Summary
We are looking for motivated, hands-on people to join our team as Apprentice Cabinet Makers / Entry-Level Millwork Team Members. This position is ideal for 1st to 3rd year apprentice cabinet makers, or for someone with no previous experience who is interested in learning the cabinetmaking and millwork trade.
In this role, you will work alongside experienced cabinet makers and production staff to learn how custom cabinetry and architectural millwork are built from start to finish. The right candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and an interest in building a long-term career in the millwork industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the construction and assembly of cabinets and millwork.
- Learn to use woodworking machinery, hand tools, and production equipment safely.
- Help fabricate cabinetry according to shop drawings and specifications.
- Support experienced cabinet makers with cutting, edging, drilling, assembly, sanding, hardware installation, and general production tasks.
- Perform quality checks to help ensure finished products meet Park Place standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all shop safety procedures and company policies.
- Assist with loading, handling, and organizing materials as required.
- Help with cabinet installation on site when needed.
Requirements
- 1st to 3rd year cabinetmaking apprentices are encouraged to apply.
- Entry-level applicants with no experience are also welcome.
- Interest in woodworking, cabinetry, construction, or hands-on work.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to take direction and work as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Ability to read a tape measure is an asset, but training can be provided.
- Experience with tools, construction, or shop work is an asset, but not required.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-minded.

Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
