Job Description
This is a Outside Vendor Managed Sales Role. The person for this role will be responsible for taking care of customer needs and inventory. You will be expected to make Cold Calls on new potential accounts in your area to secure new Business. You will be responsible on existing customers to build relationships within an assigned territory as well as conducting research to find potential new clients. You will be responsible for outbound sales and supporting the company’s sales efforts.
Job Duties
- Create opportunity to expand business with current and new potential customers
- Manage and grow assigned sales territory or group of accounts through the sales of Armstrong product offerings
- Manage and maintain project opportunities & ensure customers get what they want and need in the promised time
- Utilize CRM effectively to plan & document progress as well as increase business opportunities within accounts
- Keep track of existing Customer’s inventory and VMI contract
- Coordinate all sales-related activities in the assigned territory and provide feedback to other departments as required
- Review incoming and outgoing customer orders
- Create, update and maintain customer purchase history files that have complete customer information
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with all sales channels
- Analyzes and reports customer feedback for continuous market share improvement
- Order and deliver parts to the Customer as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 - 3 years sales or relevant work experience
- G License is a must with good driving record
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory
- Must be self-motivate to achieve annual goals and objectives
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Positive and professional team attitude
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Aptitude with computer software programs utilized by the company
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Education
- Certificate, diploma, or degree with a concentration in Sales
- 2 - 3 years of work experience in Sales is a must
