About the Role
This is a high-impact role that supports the CFO in financial planning, forecasting, modelling, and business insights, while helping to strengthen Finance systems, reporting, and processes. Unlike traditional finance roles focused primarily on accounting or transactional activity, this position is centred on FP&A, analytics, and finance transformation, with a strong emphasis on Workday optimization and decision-support reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes to support firmwide decision-making
- Develop and maintain financial models, scenario analysis, and business cases to inform strategic priorities
- Partner closely with the CFO on executive reporting, performance insights, and strategic planning activities
- Support the ongoing evolution of Finance systems by building and optimizing workflows in Workday, including planning cycles, reporting, and approvals
- Develop dashboards, analytics, and management reporting using Excel, Power BI, and Workday
- Identify opportunities to automate processes, improve data quality, and enhance reporting efficiency across Finance
- Establish and maintain consistent financial metrics, reporting cadence, and governance practices
- Collaborate with Payroll, People & Culture, and Operations to strengthen data flows, reporting, and cross-functional planning
Qualifications & Experience
- 5–8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis
- Advanced financial modelling and scenario analysis skills
- Experience with Workday Financials, Workday Adaptive Planning, or similar finance systems
- Strong analytical and reporting capability using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools
- Experience supporting process improvement, systems implementation, or finance transformation initiatives
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
Education & Designation
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- CPA designation preferred, or working toward completion
- CFA designation considered an asset
Pay: $95,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in North York, ON
