Job Description:
SignalChem Biotech Inc. is seeking a highly qualified Research Scientist with strong expertise in cloning, protein expression, and purification. This role requires a professional capable of evaluating, designing, and executing complex R&D projects to advance the development of innovative biotechnology products.
Key Responsibilities
● Lead R&D projects related to recombinant protein production, including experimental design, planning, and execution both independently and collaboratively.
● Perform in-depth analysis of experimental data, ensuring comprehensive documentation and the preparation of detailed technical reports.
● Drive innovative research to enhance current manufacturing processes and support the development of new product lines.
● Troubleshoot experimental workflows and identify data trends or abnormalities to
ensure scientific rigor.
● Undertake additional professional duties as assigned to support organizational
objectives.
Required Qualifications
● Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in recombinant protein production; a
PhD is strongly preferred.
● Extensive technical proficiency in molecular cloning, as well as E. coli and yeast expression systems and purification techniques.
● Experience in Molecular Biology.
● Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication and cross-functional teamwork skills.
● Self-motivated professional with strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
● Proven track record of meticulous attention to detail and ability to learn and apply new
scientific concepts rapidly.
Preferred Qualifications
● Prior experience with bioreactor operations.
● Hands-on experience with mammalian and insect cell culture systems.
