Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial environments.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, P&IDs, and technical documentation.
Wire electrical panels, motors, control devices, and other electrical components.
Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance.
Diagnose electrical and control system issues and complete corrective repairs.
Assist with the installation and integration of automation and control systems.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and according to specifications.
Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and project records.
Follow the Canadian Electrical Code and all applicable safety regulations.
Promote safe work practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Travel to client sites as required.
Valid Journeyman Electrician Certification or Red Seal certification.
Eligibility to work in Alberta.
Strong knowledge of electrical theory and industrial electrical systems.
Experience with electrical installation, wiring, commissioning, maintenance, and repair.
Proficiency troubleshooting electrical components, motors, control panels, and electrical systems.
Understanding of industrial power distribution and control systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and industry safety standards.
Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments is preferred.
Experience with automation and control systems is considered an asset.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
