Job Overview:
Newly opened, modern, community-based clinic that serves the GTA. We are seeking both full time and part time pediatricians and pediatric subspecialists. Large patient roster. The office is located in North York, in a medical building at Sheppard and Bathurst, with onsite LifeLabs and Diagnostic Imaging Center. A combination of in-person and virtual care (video and phone). Happy to have new residency graduates or to supervise Canadian IMGs. (Must have or be eligible for Ontario Medical License)
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatrician to join our medical team. As a Pediatrician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young patients and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical examinations and medical assessments of pediatric patients
- Diagnose and treat various acute and chronic illnesses in children
- Provide preventative care, including vaccinations and routine check-ups
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
- Educate patients and their families on proper healthcare practices and disease prevention
- Monitor growth and development of pediatric patients
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as bloodwork or x-rays
- Prescribe medications and administer treatments as needed
- Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems (Accuro)
Requirements:
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Pediatrics
- Valid state medical license to practice as a Pediatrician
- Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of pediatric diseases and conditions
- Experience working in a medical office or hospital setting preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to provide compassionate care to children of all ages, including infants, toddlers, and adolescents
