Warehouse Operations Lead Hand
Location: Calgary Terminal
Hours: Full Time - Monday – Friday, 7 AM – 3:30 PM
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Various dock and administrative duties with a primary focus on load planning and overseeing day to day operations.
- Dock work as required including offloading, loading
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead Hand for all aspects of terminal operations
- load and offload a truck with pallet jack, hand truck and forklift
- Organize and schedule inbound containers and trailers for offloading
- Support dock operations as required by offloading and reloading trucks for delivery
- Communication with customers, colleagues, terminals, corporate and carriers.
- Aptitude for problem solving; ability to determine solutions for our customers.
- Maintain customer relationships, ensuring customer loyalty through excellent service.
- Support other office tasks as required including but not limited to entry, emails, tracing, and filing
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of Logistics and warehousing
- Must be able to represent our company in a professional manner
- Must be able to multi-task and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized and positive environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills are required
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
- Must be able to drive a forklift.

- Self-starters that can work individually and in a team environment.
- Proactive and positive approach with co-workers, customers, corporate and other terminals.
- Positive can do attitude and aptitude.
- Focus and time management is essential.
- Computer/ Mac and Microsoft Office skills are required.
