Six Base Inc. is seeking a reliable and motivated Machine Operator Assistant / General Labour to join our sheet metal fabrication team. The successful candidate will assist Punch Press and Press Brake operators, support shipping and packaging, handle materials, and help maintain a safe and organized production environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist Punch Press and Press Brake operators.
- Load and unload sheet metal.
- Package, label, and palletize finished products.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and material handling.
- Use measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers for basic quality checks.
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Perform other general production duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or sheet metal fabrication experience is an asset.
- Experience with Punch Press or Press Brake equipment is an asset.
- Forklift certification and a valid driver's licence are considered assets.
- Familiarity with basic measuring tools and hand tools.
- Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
