Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Labourer to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in building and renovation projects, providing hands-on experience in various aspects of construction. The ideal candidate will be reliable, physically capable, and eager to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment. Prior construction experience is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided. This position involves working on diverse projects, including concrete flatwork, paver laying, and general landscaping tasks. The Construction Labourer plays a vital role in supporting skilled tradespeople and ensuring project efficiency and safety.
Duties
- Assist with the use of hand tools and power tools to perform construction tasks efficiently and safely
- Operate equipment for demolition or material handling under supervision
- Maintain a clean and organized work site to promote safety and productivity
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries during construction activities
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction or related fields is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Familiarity with hand tools, schematics, blueprints, and construction techniques
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics is beneficial
- Strong work ethic with physical stamina to perform manual labor throughout the workday
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team environment
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures on construction sites
- Reliable transportation to job sites; valid driver’s license is preferred but not mandatory.
