Company Overview
The position is actively engaged in all warehouse activities while also assuming responsibilities for supervising daily warehouse operations for other team members, including scheduling, hiring and training warehouse associates. Oversees day-to-day warehouse functions in all the following areas: receiving, order filling, and logistics (coordination of inbound and outbound shipping). This is a hands-on role that prioritises daily workflow to ensure customer requirements are met.
Primary Responsibilities
- Plans and schedules warehouse personnel to ensure proper staffing to receive, order fill or ship products in a productive, safe and cost-efficient manner.
- Conducts daily start-up meetings; organises daily assignments/workload to associates and assigns duties accordingly. Establishes or adjusts work assignments to meet daily production schedules.
- Trains associates in the proper execution of standard operating procedures (SOP’s). Implements and ensures they are followed, and verifies the accuracy and completeness of all records/documentation activities within the work group.
- Ensures that products are received, and orders are filled and shipped promptly to maximise customer service.
- Participates in the selection of operation associates; implements departmental training and job rotation activities; initiates a plan to motivate associates; administers performance management (coaching and accountability), including the annual review process; provides development and training in all functional areas.
- Coordinates the regular completion of inventory cycle counting throughout the year.
- Promotes a positive, inclusive work environment through effectively communicating and interpreting company policies for associates; coaching and counselling, responding to general inquiries, analysing and resolving work problems in a timely manner and in accordance with company policies (i.e. open door, progressive discipline, effective documentation and follow-up)
- Maintains employment-related programs and procedures, including health and safety and housekeeping programs, and cultural programs in order to ensure compliance with the relevant legislation and company policy.
Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

Experience:
- Supervising: 2 years (required)
