Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to work at a retirement home in King City, ON. Should have experience working in along term care facility using load machines and dryers, folding clean laundry, and delivery of clean clothes for pick up by PSW staff.

Duties:
Laundry Aide
- Collect soiled laundry from resident rooms and designated areas
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron laundry as needed
- Label and organize personal clothing to prevent mix-ups
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry room, machines, and supplies
- Follow proper infection control and safety procedures
- Report damaged clothing or equipment issues to supervisor
- Deliver clean laundry to PSW staff in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Long-Term care
- Experience in using load machines
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Must have a Vulnerable Sector Check
- Must have 2 Step Tb test / Chest X Ray Report
- Must have a proof of Immunization Record
- Must have N95 Mask Fit Report
- Influenza vaccine report
Shifts : Monday to Sunday
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour
