You'll work closely with the Executive Director, leadership team, staff, community partners, and supporters to build connections, share meaningful stories, coordinate community initiatives, and help create opportunities for people to become engaged in our mission.

What You'll Do
You'll help strengthen awareness, engagement, and support for CLNP throughout North Perth and beyond.
Build Relationships That Matter
- Develop and maintain relationships with businesses, service clubs, municipalities, schools, volunteers, and community organizations
- Represent CLNP at community meetings, networking events, presentations, and outreach activities
- Create opportunities for collaboration, partnership, and community involvement
- Help strengthen CLNP's presence and reputation throughout the region
Tell Our Story
- Create engaging content for social media, newsletters, website updates, and promotional materials
- Share stories that highlight the achievements, experiences, and impact of people supported by CLNP
- Support public awareness and advocacy initiatives
- Help ensure CLNP's messaging is consistent, authentic, and engaging
Make Community Initiatives Happen
- Coordinate community events, awareness campaigns, and outreach activities
- Support fundraising and donor engagement initiatives through promotion and community participation
- Coordinate volunteers, logistics, communications, and follow-up activities
- Help recognize and celebrate community partners, sponsors, and volunteers
Create Meaningful Connections
- Identify opportunities to increase public awareness and community engagement
- Support consultations, surveys, and feedback initiatives
- Help strengthen relationships with stakeholders and community supporters
- Foster opportunities for people to become involved in CLNP's mission
Keep Us Organized and Moving Forward
- Track engagement activities, communications initiatives, and community outreach efforts
- Maintain records, contact databases, and communication materials
- Prepare reports, presentations, and updates
- Help measure and demonstrate the impact of community engagement efforts
What You Bring
We're looking for someone who is both capable and excited to grow.
You might be a great fit if you have:
- Post-secondary education in communications, marketing, public relations, community development, nonprofit management, social services, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in communications, marketing, community engagement, event coordination, stakeholder relations, or a related role
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience using social media platforms, digital communication tools, and website content management systems
- A valid Ontario Driver's License and reliable access to a vehicle
Assets (but not required)
- Experience working in the nonprofit or developmental services sector
- Graphic design, photography, videography, or content creation experience
- Knowledge of rural communities and community engagement practices
- Experience coordinating events, volunteers, or public awareness campaigns
