Experienced Pipe Layer
BPH-X Limited is a Northern Ontario heavy civil construction company specializing in infrastructure projects including watermain, sewer, drainage, and culvert installations. We are currently seeking experienced Pipe Layers to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Install watermain, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and culvert systems
- Read and interpret grade stakes, site plans, and construction drawings
- Assist with trench preparation, pipe alignment, and bedding installation
- Ensure proper pipe elevations and installation according to project specifications
- Work safely around excavators, loaders, and other heavy equipment
- Perform daily inspections of work areas and maintain a safe job site
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, operators, and crew members
- Complete tasks efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship
Qualifications
- Previous experience installing water, sewer, and storm infrastructure
- Experience with culvert installations is considered a strong asset
- Ability to read grade stakes and construction drawings
- Strong understanding of trench safety and excavation practices
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety
