Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various warehouse activities including but not limited to shipping, receiving, order picking, loading, unloading, and operating heavy equipment. The Warehouse Worker will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse distribution system. We have immediate openings for year round part-time or seasonal work for the summer.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently and accurately perform shipping and receiving duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as clamp trucks and cranes
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and orders
- Safely load and unload materials from trucks and containers
- Conduct regular quality checks on incoming and outgoing products
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge for operating heavy equipment
- Experience in shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems
- Ability to perform order picking accurately and efficiently
- Familiarity with clamp truck and crane operations
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
