Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various machines and ensuring the production of high-quality components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, quality control measures, and the ability to work with precision equipment.
Duties
- Operate injection molding machines to produce specified product to quality and relieve other operators as required using defined set-up sheets
- Inspect production for visual defects; utilize manual gauges or other instruments to inspect or sort molded product
- Remove molded parts from machines assuring standard cycle is met and all parts are cleared from tooling after each cycle
- Perform other related tasks as outlined by the Shift Supervisor, General Manager or assigned representative
- Ensure that the production floor is properly cleaned, maintained, and organized
- Correctly fill out related quality records whether hard copy or electronically
- Perform other related duties as required and willingness to work overtime when needed
- Ability to recognize issues and diagnose for quick resolution, maintain quality standards, and produce product per production schedules and deadlines
