Duties
- Safely operate various types of vehicles, including passenger vans, buses, or commercial vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Transport clients such as children, seniors, or community members to designated locations, appointments, or events.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing support as needed for those with mobility challenges
- Maintain cleanliness and basic mechanical checks of the vehicle before and after trips
- Communicate effectively with clients to confirm schedules and provide exceptional customer service
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents during transportation
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure passenger safety at all times
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is a plus
- Experience working with children or seniors is highly desirable
- Multilingual abilities are preferred; fluency in French and English is advantageous
- Strong communication skills for interacting with diverse populations
- Knowledge of vehicle mechanics or basic troubleshooting is beneficial
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to teach or instruct passengers when necessary, demonstrating patience and clarity in communication
- Writing skills for completing reports or logs related to trips and vehicle maintenance
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are considered an asset for serving diverse communities

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
