TENT TECHNICIAN
JOB DUTIES:
- Set up and takedown of tents, stages, dance floors, and lighting
- Delivery of equipment; tents, stages, floors, lighting, tables, chairs, etc.
- Loading and unloading of trucks, cleaning, maintaining, and repairing equipment.
- Onsite interaction with clients
- Uphold company safety standards and ensure appropriate safety procedures are followed
- Listen to team members’ feedback and instructions
- Communication with the tent leader will be essential
- Read, understand, and apply the Modern Rentals Standards and Practices Guide
- Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned by the tent leader
- Ensure all paperwork is filled out including any description of changes with specific information about orders, accesses, obstacles, and requirements you need to get work orders successfully done
- Education, Skills & Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required
- Must be able to lift and carry 75+ lbs. over significant distances
- Must be able to stand and be physically active for hours at a time
- Able to work outdoors and in all weather conditions
- Some nights/ weekend work required
- Ability to work under pressure and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour

- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- Construction: 1 year (preferred)
- Skilled Labor: 1 year (preferred)
