Canada–U.S. Owner-Operator – Single Driver

Total Logistics Trucking Canada Inc. is currently looking for experienced Owner-Operators – Single Drivers for Canada–U.S. operations.
We are looking for professional, reliable drivers who are comfortable with cross-border transportation and are looking to build a long-term relationship with an established transportation company.
PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF:
- You have less than 12 months of verifiable Class 1 / AZ driving experience.
- You are not eligible to enter the United States.
- You do not have experience with long-haul Canada–U.S. transportation.
- You are not comfortable operating in winter conditions.
- You do not meet the legal and company requirements to operate as an Owner-Operator.
About Us
Total Logistics Trucking Canada Inc. is an established transportation company providing trucking and logistics services throughout Canada and the United States.
As our operations continue to grow, we are looking to add experienced single Owner-Operators to our fleet, with a preference for drivers who can start and finish their trips from our Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec terminal.
The Opportunity
This position is for single Owner-Operators operating Canada–U.S. lanes.
Our network provides a mix of Canadian and U.S. freight, allowing drivers to operate across different markets depending on customer requirements and available loads.
Operations May Include:
× Departures primarily from Vaudreuil-Dorion, QC
× Canada–U.S. cross-border freight
× Long-haul operations throughout Canada and the United States
× Deliveries and pickups at customer and warehouse locations
× Routes into Ontario and Western Canada when required
× U.S. destinations based on freight demand and customer requirements
× Return freight coordinated by our dispatch team whenever available
Responsibilities
× Safely transport freight throughout Canada and the United States.
× Complete all required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
× Maintain accurate Hours of Service and ELD records.
× Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding pickups, deliveries, delays, and route changes.
× Complete bills of lading, delivery receipts, customs documentation, and other required paperwork accurately.
× Ensure cargo is properly secured and protected throughout transportation.
× Maintain your equipment in safe and compliant operating condition.
× Comply with Canadian and U.S. transportation regulations, border requirements, and company safety policies.
× Maintain professional communication with customers, dispatchers, warehouse personnel, and other partners.
Qualifications
× Valid Class 1 / AZ driver's licence with a satisfactory driving record.
× Minimum 12 months of verifiable long-haul driving experience.
× Eligible to legally cross the Canada–U.S. border.
× Previous Canada–U.S. experience strongly preferred.
× Experience driving in Canadian winter conditions.
× Good understanding of Hours of Service and commercial vehicle regulations.
× Functional English required for U.S. operations and border crossings.
× Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and professional service.
× Ability to work independently and manage long-haul schedules effectively.
Owner-Operator Requirements
Owner-Operators must provide and maintain all documentation required to operate legally and safely within our Canada–U.S. network. Equipment and documentation will be reviewed as part of the qualification process.
