Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team at Dolphin Gaming in Canada. This role is vital in maintaining a secure and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests while upholding the company's standards of safety and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Monitor premises through surveillance systems to detect suspicious activities.
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure safety and security across all areas.
- Enforce casino policies and procedures to prevent loss and maintain order.
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement when necessary.
- Maintain detailed reports of security activities and incidents.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or misconduct.
- Operate CCTV systems effectively to oversee gaming areas and entrances.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold a secure environment aligned with company standards.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or related fields.
- Strong surveillance skills with proficiency in CCTV operation.
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques.
- Excellent observation and communication skills.
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a casino or gaming environment is preferred.
- Education and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a security or guest-facing role.
- Smart Serve Certification (required).
- Guard Force Training asset.
- Occupational First Aid Level 1 asset.
- Must be willing to recertify every three years for Use of Force Certification.
- Ability to successfully obtain and maintain a Gaming License.
- Bilingual (English/French) considered an asset.
