Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. This role is essential in delivering exceptional dining experiences by providing excellent service, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring efficient restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Manage customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and upselling menu items
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service, addressing guest inquiries and ensuring satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, adhering to food safety regulations
- Assist with food presentation and portioning to ensure consistency
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Uphold sanitation standards by following proper food handling procedures
- Engage in suggestive selling to enhance guest experience and increase sales
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation practices required
- Experience with cashiering, food handling, and basic math skills beneficial
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and teamwork
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Kitchen experience or restaurant experience is advantageous but not mandatory
