Job Overview
We’re seeking a reliable, experienced Journeyman Welder to operate one of our mobile units for field-based welding and fabrication work. This is a full-time, long-term role ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, values independence, and wants to be home every night.

Responsibilities
· Operate a mobile welding unit for field-based jobs around Edmonton
· Fabricate, fit, and assemble parts for custom and repair work
· Perform repairs and maintenance on light and heavy-duty equipment
· Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and shop drawings
· Maintain your mobile unit in a clean, safe, and organized condition
· Communicate professionally with clients and coworkers
· Work independently to deliver quality workmanship in the field
Qualifications
· Journeyman Welder Certification (Alberta or Red Seal equivalent)
· Strong fabrication and mechanical troubleshooting skills
· Previous experience with mobile welding or fieldwork is an asset
· Class 5 Driver’s License and clean Driver’s Abstract
· CWB SMAW/FCAW tickets and aluminum welding experience are assets
· Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
· Clear, professional communication skills
· Safety tickets (e.g., Fall Protection, First Aid, etc.) are a plus

Additional Information
· Must currently reside in the Edmonton area
· Applicants outside of the region will not be considered
· Work is primarily Monday to Friday with occasional flexibility required
· This is a field-based role — applicants must be comfortable working independently in a mobile unit
