On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Design Operations Engagement Manager for a 12 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
PCO / Design Operations Engagement Manager - Job Description:
The Design Operations Engagement Manager will support the Human Centered Design (HCD) Practice at the Bank, focusing on experience design business management. The role involves ensuring high-quality work delivery, managing resources, and acting as an ambassador for the human-centered design process.
PCO / Design Operations Engagement Manager - Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of design strategy and delivery solutions
- Work with HCD leadership to plan and price experience strategy and design deliverables
- Partner with Technology and Business to integrate experience design into project plans
- Collaborate with various partners to manage project/feature pipelines
- Report on experience portfolio status and manage business expectations
- Maintain relationships with key partners and manage vendor resources
- Mediate disputes to ensure adherence to design strategy and principles
PCO / Design Operations Engagement Manager - Mandatory Skills:
- Great organization skills
- Very detail-oriented with multitasking abilities
- Familiarity with UX design principles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Project management and resource management skills
- Stakeholder management
- Strong proficiency in Excel
PCO / Design Operations Engagement Manager – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with design research
- AI familiarity
- Experience with Confluence, Jira, and Figma
