Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage warehouse distribution activities efficiently.
- Operate heavy equipment such as cranes and forklifts safely.
- Pick, load, and unload materials accurately.
- Maintain inventory using warehouse management systems.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes.
- Support construction-related logistics as needed.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse operations and heavy equipment handling.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus.
- Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, and clamp trucks safely.
- Strong organizational skills for inventory management.
- Ability to lift heavy loads regularly.
- Good communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with warehouse management systems and previous work in construction or industrial environments.
Location, Shift, Hours of Work & Working Conditions
- Location: St. Catharines
- Shift & Hours: Day Shift- Monday to Thursday - 5:30 am to 5:15 pm, Afternoon Shift-Monday to Thursday - 5:30 pm to 5:15 am and Weekend Shift-Friday to Sunday- 5:30 am to 5:15 pm
- May be required to work additional hours based on plant needs
- Manufacturing floor environment with exposure to heat, noise, dust, and industrial equipment.
- Requires standing, lifting, and walking throughout the shift.
