We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to serve as a key member of our Customer Service team. This position acts as a primary point of contact for retailers, sales representatives, and consumers, helping to ensure an exceptional customer experience while supporting sales and business operations.
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, comfortable working with technology, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, solving problems, and taking ownership of their work.
What You'll Do
- Enter and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Respond to inquiries from retailers, sales representatives, and consumers by phone and email.
- Develop a strong understanding of Durham Furniture products and provide solutions and support to customers.
- Serve as a primary customer service contact for dealers, representatives, and consumers.
- Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Production, and Shipping teams to ensure customer needs are met.
- Assist with product service inquiries and coordinate related communications.
- Support the preparation and distribution of price lists, product information, and sales materials.
- Assist with courier shipments and sample distribution to retailers and sales representatives.
- Maintain files, databases, and information within company software systems.
- Provide administrative support for marketing initiatives, including website content, social media, catalogs, and promotional materials.
- Contribute ideas and support continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
What We're Looking For
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to learn new software systems quickly and confidently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience in customer service, sales support, administration, or a related role.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset but not required.
- Knowledge of furniture, manufacturing, or consumer products is considered an asset.

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
