OVERVIEW
Our client, a Canadian-owned construction and maintenance contractor serving industrial sectors across North America, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful execution of major construction projects.
With significant project activity underway and continued growth on the horizon, this leadership team is still focused on maintaining their positive work culture with a family feel, and an open-door policy.
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Project Manager will work on site leading the project lifecycle to ensure deliverables, deadlines, budgets, and customer expectations are met while managing project scope, resources, subcontractors, and contracts.

RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage all phases of assigned construction projects from initial planning and mobilization through execution and completion.
· Develop a comprehensive understanding of project scope, objectives, contractual requirements, deliverables, budgets, and deadlines.
· Work closely with clients from the outset of each project to establish expectations, understand project requirements, and maintain strong working relationships throughout execution.
· Develop detailed project schedules, establish milestones, allocate resources, and ensure the appropriate personnel and expertise are assigned to the project.
· Prepare and manage project budgets while monitoring actual and projected costs, profitability, commitments, and overall financial performance.
· Provide regular project status and financial reporting, including current and projected costs and profitability.
· Ensure projects are completed within established budgets, schedules, quality standards, and customer requirements.
· Provide leadership and direction to project teams, including Construction Managers, site personnel, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
· Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, procurement activities, and project resources to support successful project execution.
· Issue and administer contracts, purchase orders, and change orders as required.
· Identify project issues, risks, delays, and changing requirements and take appropriate action to resolve them in a timely manner.
· Monitor project quality and safety performance and ensure project teams maintain established standards and expectations.
· Prepare and submit project deliverables, status reports, and other required project documentation.
· Establish and maintain effective communication plans between clients, project teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
· Identify opportunities to provide value-added solutions and support the development and follow-up of project proposals.
· Maintain a high level of organization, attention to detail, and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
· Deliver a high standard of customer service while maintaining positive client relationships and overall customer satisfaction.
REQUIREMENTS
· 8+ years of industrial construction and project management experience
· Relevant post-secondary education with PMP Certification considered a strong asset
· Demonstrated experience managing construction projects through planning, execution, and completion.
· Strong understanding of construction project management processes, including scheduling, budgeting, cost control, contracts, procurement, change management, safety, and quality.
· Experience coordinating subcontractors and administering contracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
· Strong financial acumen with experience monitoring current and projected project costs and profitability.
· Strong leadership and relationship-building skills with the ability to guide project teams and work effectively with field personnel, clients, subcontractors, and management.
· Strong understanding of construction safety and quality expectations.
· Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
· Strong computer skills and proficiency with standard business and project management applications.
· Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) designation is considered an asset.
· Ability and willingness to travel to project locations as required.

Hourly Minimum: $110.00/hr
*The minimum salary provided complies with pay transparency requirements. Total compensation and any flexibility surrounding compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and role alignment, and may include additional components.
Schedule: Project Managers are primarily assigned to individual projects and will work closely with site-based construction teams. Depending on project location and requirements, rotational schedules may be available, with flexibility based on the assignment.
