Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Sales & Marketing Manager to join a growing company in the warehousing and distribution sector. This role is responsible for leading sales initiatives, developing marketing strategies, and driving business growth by building strong client relationships and generating new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics, warehousing, distribution, or a related industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to support business growth and increase market share.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Lead the sales process from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with operations and management teams to align sales goals with operational capacity.
- Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and business development plans.
- Manage and support marketing initiatives including digital marketing, promotions, and brand positioning.
- Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, marketing, or business development, preferably in warehousing, logistics, transportation, or supply chain industries.
- Strong ability to generate leads, develop client relationships, and close deals.
- Excellent strategic planning and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated experience in business growth and revenue development.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or a related field is considered an asset.
