We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking, and creative person to join our team as a line-painting employee with additional marketing responsibilities.
You will work alongside our crew throughout each job, completing regular line-painting duties such as preparing surfaces, setting up equipment, painting, cleaning up, and assisting other crew members. Toward the end of selected jobs, you’ll capture photos and videos and turn them into content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook.
This is a hands-on outdoor position not solely a social media or content-creation role.
Line-Painting Responsibilities
- Work as an active member of the line-painting crew
- Prepare and clean job sites
- Set up, operate, and clean painting equipment
- Assist with measuring, layouts, taping, and painting
- Load and unload equipment and materials
Marketing Responsibilities
- Capture high-quality photos and videos at job sites
- Create short-form videos, posts, stories, and other social content
- Write captions and suggest creative content ideas
- Highlight completed projects and behind-the-scenes work
- Help manage and grow our social media presence
Requirements
- Strong work ethic and willingness to perform physical outdoor work
- Genuine interest in marketing and social media
- Located in Oshawa, Whitby, Courtice, or Bowmanville
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well with a crew
- Basic knowledge of content creation and current social media trends
- Comfortable taking initiative and directing people for content
- Smartphone capable of recording quality photos and videos
- Line-painting or marketing experience is an asset but not required
Helpful Skills
- Video editing with CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere, or similar software
- Photography and basic graphic design
- Social media management
- Copywriting and storytelling
- Construction, painting, landscaping, or other outdoor work experience
Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
