Qualifications:
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Millwright to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of equipment within the feed mill. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and possesses strong technical skills.
Duties:
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery, including conveyors, pumps, motors, etc.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills.
- Replace bearings, shafts, belts, chains, gearboxes, motors, pulleys, and other mechanical components.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Perform welding, cutting, fabrication, and basic machining as required.
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption.
- Comply with workplace health and safety regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, confined space requirements, and food safety standards.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Participate in emergency breakdown response and on-call schedule as required.
- Recommend equipment improvements to increase reliability, efficiency, and productivity.
Qualifications:
- Experience maintaining industrial equipment, preferably in a feed mill, grain handling, food processing, or agricultural manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately.
- Excellent analysis skills with a focus on troubleshooting complex machinery issues efficiently.
- Welding and fabrication experience is considered an asset.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
