Job Summary:
Murrieta’s is a busy, upscale casual restaurant looking for a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate has experience in a fast-paced kitchen and a passion for crafting high-quality dishes. You’ll be responsible for preparing meals according to standardized recipes, portioning ingredients, cooking with precision, and maintaining a clean and safe workstation. A strong commitment to presentation and attention to detail is essential, as we take pride in creating memorable dining experiences that bring guests back again and again.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and execute dishes according to recipe specs and plating standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation at all times
- Assist with prep for upcoming shifts and service periods
- Monitor food quality and freshness; rotate stock as needed
- Work collaboratively with fellow cooks and BOH team during busy service
- Follow all food safety protocols and kitchen procedures
What You Bring:
- 2+ years of line cook experience in a high-volume kitchen
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to stay calm and focused during high-pressure services
- Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
