iQlance Solutions Canada is looking for a motivated Android App Developer with 1–2 years of experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building, testing, and maintaining Android applications and a strong understanding of modern mobile development practices.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications.
- Build responsive and user-friendly mobile interfaces.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Integrate REST APIs, third-party services, and SDKs.
- Debug, test, and resolve application issues.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and other team members.
- Optimize applications for performance, stability, and security.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical improvements.
- Stay updated with the latest Android development trends and technologies.
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of professional experience in Android app development.
- Strong knowledge of Kotlin and/or Java.
- Experience with Android Studio, Android SDK, and Gradle.
- Understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
- Familiarity with Git/version control.
- Knowledge of Android UI components and responsive layouts.
- Understanding of debugging and performance optimization.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Firebase.
- Knowledge of Jetpack/Jetpack Compose.
- Experience integrating payment gateways or third-party APIs.
- Understanding of Play Store deployment.
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
