A Better Tomorrow Seven Ltd. is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Part-Time Team Lead to join our leadership team in Edmonton.
This is more than a Team Lead position—it's an opportunity to help build and develop a high-quality residential program for children and youth with complex behavioural, developmental, and medical needs.
You will work closely alongside our current Team Lead, mentoring staff, strengthening daily operations, and helping shape the future of our program while ensuring we continue to meet Canadian Accreditation Council (CAC) standards and ongoing Licensing standards.
Hours: Minimum 3 days per week to start, with opportunities for additional hours as the program continues to grow.

What You’ll Do:

- Menu planning, scheduling, kids activity planning
- Maintaining communication with caseworkers and schools and creating monthly case reports.
- Additional tasks as required
What We’re Looking For:
Required Qualifications
- Minimum two-year Diploma in Child and Youth Care, Child and Youth Worker, or Early Childhood Education (ECE).
- Minimum 2 years of leadership, supervisory, or senior frontline experience in residential care, group homes, or community services.
- Experience supporting children and youth with complex behavioural, developmental, and mental health needs.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to coach and mentor staff while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence.
- Current Driver's Abstract.
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search.
- Child Intervention/Child Welfare Record Check.
- Standard First Aid & CPR Level C + AED.
- Medication Administration Certification.
- Trauma Informed Care

Assets
Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Experience working in a CAC-accredited organization.
- Knowledge of Canadian Accreditation Council (CAC) standards.
- Experience with quality assurance, audits, or accreditation preparation.
- Mental Health First Aid, Suicide Prevention, or behavioural intervention training.
- Knowledge of Indigenous culture, traditions, and culturally responsive care.
