Position Summary:
The Guest Service Associate (GSA) serves as the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience from check-in to check-out. This role requires an individual with prior Hilton experience who understands the brand’s standards, service culture, and operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a warm and professional welcome to all guests, reflecting Hilton’s brand standards.
- Efficiently manage check-in and check-out processes, including handling reservations, room assignments, and billing inquiries.
- Respond promptly and effectively to guest requests, questions, and concerns, ensuring satisfaction.
- Promote Hilton Honors programs and encourage guest participation.
- Accurately process payments, maintain guest accounts, and manage cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest needs are met.
- Uphold Hilton’s safety, security, and cleanliness standards throughout the property.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to provide recommendations to guests.
- Assist in training new front desk staff, sharing Hilton best practices and operational knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a Hilton hotel front desk or guest service role is highly preferred.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Hilton’s property management system (Opera or equivalent) is an asset.
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
