SKILLED CABINETMAKER WANTEDFull-Time Position | Yorkdale Kitchens
Yorkdale Kitchens is looking for an experienced cabinetmaker to join our growing team. We specialize in high-quality, fully custom cabinetry for kitchens, vanities, closets, wall units, bars and other residential millwork.
The ideal candidate takes pride in their craftsmanship, pays close attention to detail and can work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Build and assemble custom cabinetry from drawings and specifications
- Accurately measure, cut, machine and assemble cabinet components
- Operate standard woodworking machinery and shop equipment
- Work with MDF, plywood, solid wood, veneers and specialty materials
- Ensure all cabinetry meets our quality standards before installation
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe workspace
- Coordinate with designers, installers and other shop team members
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of cabinetmaking or custom millwork experience
- Must own and maintain the hand tools required for the position
- Must hold a valid Ontario G-class driver’s licence
- Strong understanding of cabinet construction and assembly
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, measurements and cut lists
- Experience operating woodworking machinery and power tools
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, punctual and able to meet production timelines
