NELLA a family-owned business with a long-standing reputation for providing exceptional service to our customers. As we continue to expand our service offerings, we are looking for a motivated and dependable Route Sales Representative to join our team.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, building relationships, and identifying opportunities to grow existing customer accounts.
Position Summary
The Route Sales Representative will be responsible for servicing an established customer base while introducing and promoting new programs and services. This position is primarily road-based and offers a high degree of independence, making it ideal for a self-starter who is organized, motivated, and comfortable managing their own schedule.
During the initial training period, the successful candidate will work closely with an experienced team member while covering a route for an employee who is currently on medical leave. This will provide valuable hands-on experience and an opportunity to learn our customers, products, and service expectations.
Responsibilities
- Service and maintain relationships with existing customers.
- Promote and introduce new company programs and services.
- Identify opportunities for additional sales and account growth.
- Conduct regular customer visits and follow-up activities.
- Resolve customer concerns and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
- Work independently while effectively managing daily routes and schedules.
- Communicate regularly with management regarding customer needs and opportunities.
Qualifications
- Previous sales, route sales, account management, or customer service experience is an asset.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Comfortable spending the majority of the workday on the road.
