Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Breakfast Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast dishes, ensuring high-quality food service, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast items according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning
- Serve dishes to guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Follow all food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure guest safety
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management of supply needs
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations
- Ability to serve guests efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques specific to breakfast dishes
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and cleanliness
- Ability to work quickly under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Prior kitchen or restaurant experience is highly desirable for this role
Pay: $21.50-$24.50 per hour
