Pugsley Court Agents Inc. is a growing legal support company that coordinates process serving, court filing, affidavit preparation, skip tracing, and related services across Canada and internationally.
We work with law firms, companies, government organizations, and self-represented clients. Our goal is to become the go-to provider for reliable legal support services throughout Canada before continuing to expand into additional international markets.
We have built a strong service offering and operating system, but our marketing has been inconsistent because our management team is focused on delivering client work. We are looking for a creative, commercially minded marketer who can take ownership of growing the business.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on growth marketing position for someone who can generate measurable new business.
You will have significant freedom to test ideas, improve campaigns, strengthen our website, and develop direct relationships with organizations that could regularly use our services.
This is not primarily a social media or brand-awareness role. The main objective is to generate more qualified inquiries, acquire recurring clients, and clearly track where new business comes from.
The initial focus will be maximizing our growth potential across Canada. As the business expands, the successful contractor may also help lead marketing efforts in the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, and other international markets.
Responsibilities
Your work may include:
- Managing and improving Google Ads campaigns
- Testing additional paid advertising platforms where appropriate
- Identifying profitable geographic areas, services, and client segments to target
- Creating and managing email marketing campaigns
- Conducting direct outreach to law firms, companies, collection agencies, government organizations, and other potential referral partners
- Developing referral and strategic partnership opportunities
- Writing persuasive outreach emails and follow-up sequences
- Reviewing and improving website copy to make it clearer, more persuasive, and more conversion-focused
- Developing landing pages for particular services, industries, or geographic regions
- Writing occasional blog posts or other search-focused content
- Improving the way inquiries, leads, and new clients are tracked
- Identifying which campaigns and outreach activities produce paying clients
- Providing concise weekly reporting on activity, results, and next steps
- Developing creative ideas to increase qualified intake and recurring business
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who:
- Has practical experience generating leads or clients through digital marketing
- Understands Google Ads and can make informed campaign decisions
- Can write strong, persuasive, professional copy
- Is comfortable conducting cold outreach and developing business relationships
- Understands that marketing should ultimately produce measurable revenue
- Can work independently without needing detailed instructions for every task
- Is resourceful, responsive, and willing to experiment
- Can quickly understand a unique service business and communicate its value
- Is comfortable working with a growing company where systems are still being developed
- Can balance creativity with data and performance tracking
- Communicates clearly and follows through consistently
Experience marketing legal, professional, B2B, local, multi-location, or regulated services would be an asset, but it is not mandatory.
Compensation
- $200 CAD per week
- Additional commission or performance-based compensation for new clients directly acquired through your work
- Advertising budgets, software expenses, and other approved campaign costs are separate from the weekly compensation
- Compensation and responsibilities may be reviewed as the role grows and measurable results are demonstrated
The specific commission structure will be discussed with the selected candidate. The intention is to reward the contractor for acquiring genuine new clients who generate paid business.
