Skilled Carpenter / Building Repair Technician
The Recap Group is looking for a skilled carpenter to join our team. We specialize in multifaceted building repairs for multi-family residential, strata, and commercial properties throughout the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.
This role is best suited for someone who takes pride in high-quality workmanship, has strong finishing skills, and understands the importance of professionalism when working on occupied sites.
Experience Required:
- Skilled carpentry experience
- Building repair or renovation experience
- Strong finishing skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work cleanly and respectfully on occupied properties
- Concrete forming and coating experience is preferred
- Waterproofing, building envelope repair, deck repair, or strata work experience is an asset
Responsibilities:
- Perform carpentry, repair, and finishing work to a high standard
- Assist with concrete forming, coatings, waterproofing, and general building repairs as required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Communicate politely and professionally with clients, residents, property managers, and team members
- Wear company uniform while on site
- Submit daily reports with photos of completed work and site progress
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s licence required
- Reliable transportation to job sites required
- Must be presentable, polite, and personable
- No bad language or inappropriate behaviour on site
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Must care about the final product and take pride in quality workmanship
