Job Overview
Miller's Home Hardware Building Center is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Installer to join our Installs team. This is a great opportunity for someone with construction or renovation experience who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants to build a long-term career in the trades. Apprenticeship opportunities may be available for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities
- Install cabinetry, flooring, tile, windows, doors, and other building materials.
- Perform basic carpentry, caulking, painting, and finishing work.
- Read and follow blueprints and installation instructions.
- Measure and cut materials accurately.
- Safely use hand and power tools.
- Work with customers, contractors, and team members to complete projects.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Troubleshoot installation issues and ensure quality workmanship.
Requirements
- Construction, renovation, or installation experience preferred.
- Experience with carpentry, kitchens, flooring, windows/doors, or tile is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Valid G Driver’s Licence required.
- Reliable personal vehicle required.
- Ability to safely tow a company trailer.

Pay: $32.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
