HR7 Solution is currently hiring full-time Cut-and-Sew (Tailor) Assistant for Our client located in Mississauga, ON.
Responsibilities:
-Read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams.
-Accurately measuring and cutting fabric according to specified patterns or designs, ensuring precision and efficiency
-Sewing of custom marine canvas and upholstery products, such as boat covers, cushions, and seating
-Knows basic operation of industrial sewing machines and other tools required for the job.
-Complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner
-Maintain a clean and organized work area.
-Adhere to company policies and safety procedures.
Requirements:
-At least 1 year of experience in canvas, upholstery or similar cutting and sewing.
-Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams.
-Proficient in using cutting tools and equipment for fabric.
-Proficient in the use of industrial sewing machines and other tools required for the job.
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy
-Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
-Strong communication skills

Pay: $17.80-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
