Jinnouchi Contracting is seeking a dedicated Hardscape Lead-hand to lead and oversee landscape construction projects.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction experience, and a solid understanding of landscape elements such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures.
This role involves supervising a team of workers, coordinating project tasks, and ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of landscape construction workers on hardscape projects, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to specifications
- Oversee the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, fire pits, and other hardscape features with precision and attention to detail
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards
- Assist with site preparation, grading, and foundation work as needed
- Mentor team members to improve skills and promote a cohesive work environment
What we're looking for/ Skills
- Proven experience in landscape construction with a focus on hardscape features
- Artificial turf installation
- Retaining walls
- Paving Stones, driveways, and walk ways
- Site grading, drainage, and layout
- Excavation operation
- Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment
- Strong leadership and supervising skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to read drawings related to landscape projects
- Leadership qualities including problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and a proactive approach to safety
Class 5 Drivers License required

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
