Overview
We are seeking line cooks and prep cooks to join our team for a new restaurant opening. In this dynamic role, you will play an important part in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests.
Responsibilities
- Set up your station efficiently and stock it with all necessary supplies and prepped ingredients.
- Prepare and cook food dishes through a variety of cooking methods, while adhering to recipes and portion controls.
- Plate food to meet company presentation standards.
- Properly store food using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method, label all products clearly and adhere to established food safety protocols.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of the menu, along with proficiency in cooking techniques, recipes, and plating standards.
- Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of work areas.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Follow all food safety and health and safety regulations.
- Complete opening, closing, and ongoing duties as required to maintain efficiency.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Working knowledge food safety standards and proper food handling practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Passion for the food industry and commitment to delivering excellent service
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as needed
Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
