We are seeking a skilled, dependable, and safety-conscious Roofing Shingler to join our elite 4-man residential roofing crew. This role focuses entirely on installing, repairing, and maintaining architectural asphalt shingle systems to the absolute highest industry standards.

- Paid Travel Time: We value your time. All crew members are fully paid at their hourly rate for travel time to and from the job sites. You do not drive your own personal vehicle across our territory on your own dime—when you are moving, you are making money.
Key Responsibilities
- Asphalt Shingle Installation: Perform clean tear-offs, inspect and prepare wooden roof decks, and properly lay underlayment, ice-and-water shields, and architectural asphalt shingles to manufacturer specifications.
- Waterproofing & Flashing: Install drip edges, valley flashing, step flashing, and apply high-quality sealants around chimneys, plumbing vents, and walls to guarantee zero leaks.
- Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to OH&S fall-protection guidelines. Properly utilize safety harnesses, ropes, and roof anchors on every slope, looking out for the safety of yourself and your crewmates.
- Pristine Site Maintenance: Participate in keeping a highly organized, clean work zone throughout the day. We utilize specialized ground-protection systems to ensure the homeowner’s yard is left in perfect condition.
- Tool Care: Safely operate and maintain standard roofing equipment including pneumatic coil nailers, compressors, and hand tools.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience: Minimum 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience specifically installing residential architectural asphalt shingles.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to comfortably handle heavy lifting (repetitively moving shingle bundles weighing up to 50–60 lbs) and work efficiently in varying outdoor weather conditions.
- Comfort at Heights: Complete confidence working on steep-slope, multi-story roofs using standard fall-arrest gear.
- Certifications: Valid Fall Protection certification is highly preferred (or willingness to get certified immediately).
- Reliability: Punctual, clear-headed, and possesses the professional work ethic needed to hit project timelines safely.
