Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will assist our dentists in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and maintaining a welcoming environment. Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
- Assist dentists during various procedures including exams, restorations, orthodontics, and pediatric treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD systems when necessary
- Manage patient records accurately using dental software Cleardent
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education on oral health maintenance
- Ensure patient comfort and address any questions or concerns during visits
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards
- Support front desk activities as a dental receptionist when needed, including scheduling appointments and verifying insurance information
Requirements
- Valid license as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in the state of practice
- Proficiency with dental software platforms such as Cleardent is preferred
- Experience with orthodontics, pediatrics, or general dentistry is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental procedures
- Familiarity with CAD imaging systems for digital radiography is a plus
- Strong understanding of infection control procedures and sterilization techniques
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience as a dental assistant is preferred
Pay: From $28.00 per hour
