Great Plains Ford is looking for a detail focused, positive, and experienced admin & accounting assistant to join our team
SOME OF YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES IN THIS ROLE INCLUDE:
- Data entry as required from accounting and all dealership departments
- Daily, ongoing posting of deals
- Filing, preparing correspondence, and mail
- Using accounting and inventory software
- Enter invoices into the system
- Review and verify invoices and cheque requests
- Set up invoices for payment
- Answering the phone
- General office duties
DO YOU HAVE:
- Must have an accounting background and preferably automotive experience
- A strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure?
- PBS experience is an asset
ARE YOU:
- Outgoing to joyfully greet guests, visitors and callers in-person and over the phone.
- Software savvy with strong proficiency using Word, Excel and Outlook, with a proven ability to multi-task.
- Detail-oriented to ensure all paperwork and reports are accurately and fully completed.
- Organized to ensure that the dealership is welcoming and tidy.
- A motivated, solid communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- Able to manage your own workload, meet deadlines and fulfill the demands of the job
