Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Optometrist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive eye care services, including vision assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough eye examinations and vision tests using advanced diagnostic equipment.
- Prescribe corrective lenses and recommend treatment options tailored to individual patient needs.
- Manage patient care for a wide range of cases, including pediatrics and senior care, ensuring compassionate and effective service.
- Utilize electronic health records systems such as Epic to document patient histories, test results, and treatment plans accurately.
- Educate patients on eye health, proper contact lens use, and preventive eye care measures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Assist in sales of optical products and accessories, providing expert advice to enhance patient satisfaction.
- Stay current with the latest developments in optometry and healthcare practices through ongoing professional development.
Experience
- Prior optical experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of vision correction methods and eye health management.
- Experience working with pediatric patients and senior populations is highly desirable.
- Proven ability in patient care with excellent communication skills and empathy.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to optometry and general healthcare.
- Experience using Epic or similar electronic health record systems is advantageous.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
